Enthuse Science Cluster Award
Mill Strand would like to share with you a few pictures of a Science in the outdoor classroom training day, it was a very entertaining and educational day!!!!
Mill Strand made a link with St Malachys primary, Coleraine for a staff training day in January, teachers and teaching assistants all got involved.
The training was to develop Science in the outdoor classroom it was very worthwhile with a lot of fantastic ideas and experiments for the classroom, which has already been put into place in our classrooms and the children seem enthusiastic.
Mill Strand where fortunate in getting funding by Enthuse for this training based in York, On behalf of Mill Strand we would like to thank Mrs Doherty and Mr Cleland for all the hard work and arranging this training day and sharing all your knowledge from your recent trip to York.
Also a big thank you to Mr Fisher and staff of St Malachys for your support in the project.

Its at times like this that we appreciate just how lucky our pupils are to be able to enjoy this type of learning every week.
When teachers from other schools comment on how lucky our pupils are to have such wonderful learning opportunity's, it makes us sit up and take notice.
